Installation : Place the lmsm_beta2.pk3 to your etmain folder, select it from the multiplayer->create server menu or
bring down the console and type: map lmsm_beta2.
: NOTE : Reduced HunkMeg usage - Beta1 required seta com_hunkMegs "265" ] in autoexec.cfg Beta2 should use a lot less - it will run standalon in the default setting of 56, although you may need to optimize your server settings to enable players with defualt settings. Please let me know of any hunkmeg issues and solutions omn the forums. I could possibly optimise further in the final release if there are still problems.

# The Allies need to secure the town by taking the church; gain entry to the abbey by blowing the abbey doors or any other means; Locate the Axis Normandy Defence Pans and Take them to the Gun Boat waiting on the North Side of the Island
# The Axis need to prevent the Allies establishing a foothold in the Town by holding the Church. Do not let the allies into the Abbey; if they get in protect the normandy defence plans at any cost, do not let them get them off the Mont.

Major changes in Final
*Increased areas for mining.
*Have to now get onto the boat with the objective, not just near it
*New buildable fence at the top of the escape stairs.
*New Buildable fence with door in the highsteet before the church.
*When Abbey doors are blown, the spawn does NOT auto switch.
*Need to now build a command post to enable the allied spawn in the abbey.
*Found the "door to nowhere" & fixed.

*Lots of brush simplification & technical jiggery pokery to reduce BSP size & Hunkmag usage
*FPS improvements : 15%+ by my measurements

*when abbey doors are blown - axis now auto spawn at abbey & not the church if they still hold it

Note - first release of lighthouse2 was on 9.11.07
Thing is I forgot something and had to recompile.
Rerelease was on Saturday 10.11.07.
So if the version you have doesnt have this readme it's the wrong one!
Basically the pk3 updated on the 10 is the right one

Map details:
Allies have set up a radar command centre on a small chalkstone island,housing a lighthouse off the South coast of England.
Axis are attempting to dissable it.
Objectives:
1. Blow up Light at the top of the lighthouse tower
2. Blow up command bunker comms room
3. Blow up anti ship gun emplacement
There are also 3 entrances that need to be breached.
1. The lighthouse compound wall
2. The main entrance
3. The compound gate
Constructibles:
1. 2 Ropes for scaling the West and south cliff
2. Ropes for scaling the tower
3. Neutral Command Post
There are 32 player slots on each team although half this number of players is more than enough for this map as it is small
Many changes since last supposed 'final' version (ooops) - Main Changes are:
More cover outside for axis team
Cover fire positions made for axis covering fire
1 more set of cliff climbing ropes
New route to light tower via mast
Taken out the 'vent' route into bunker from gun area. Now axis need covert ops. to
access new passageways in.
New allied only route from allied spawn building directly to command bunker.
Whole bunch of other physical changes.

fixed:fps are fixed (atleast for me - 125 constant on the map [1 area with drops to 90-100 FPRIVATE "TYPE=PICT;ALT=:/" ])
as mentioned in the other ldthread: axis need a sound like :"allies captured the flag"
Endlich kann ich meine erste Map vorstellen!
Hier ist sie: Karsiah!
(Um der Verwirrung vorzubeugen: Ich nenne mich auch des öfteren "Nenquel" [siehe map by..] !)
Es handelt sich um eine Map die vom Stil her an Oasis erinnert.
Wie es der Zufall es so will gibt es auch hier eine Old City.
Jedenfalls hier mal kurz die Objectives:
1) Allies müssen die Old City capturen - Axen müssen diese verteidigen (besitzen sie am Anfang)
2) Allies müssen Old City Door sprengen, um Old City zu sichern und weiterzukommen / Axen müssen versuchen dies zu verhindern
3&4) Allies müssen North und South Documents klauen / Axen müssen dies verhindern.
5) Allies müssen beide Obj zum Radio bei der Old City bringen / Axen müssen mal wieder dies verhindern ^^

At last, I can present my first Map! Here it is: Karsiah! (To prevent around the confusion: I am also called quite often "Nenquel" [see map by .]!) It is about a Map from the style in Oasis reminds. How it the chance it so wants there also is here an Old city.
Anyhow, here shortly the Objectives:
1) Allies must the Old city capturen - Axen must defend this (they possess at the beginning)
2) Allies must sprinkle Old city Door to protect Old city and to get on / Axen must try to prevent this
3*4) Allies must steal North and South Documents / Axen must prevent this.
5) Allies must bring both Obj to the radio with the Old to city / Axen must prevent again this

Description: The Axis Forces have built up a base in the Center of Karsiah. They also have their Main Base there.
The Allied Forces have the Mission to steal all Secret Axis Documents and transmit them to overrun the Axis Forces in the South.
Objectives:
1) Defend/Capture the Old City
2) Defend/Destroy Old City Door
3) Defend/Steal the North Documents
4) Defend/Steal the South Documents
5) Prevent from transmitting/Transmit both Documents at Transmitter.

MAP DESCRIPTION
English:
Both sides have to steal the enemys gold and build the one command post
in the church. Only the side wich have stolen the gold and build
the command post can win the match. There is no default way, to steal
the gold and build the command post. You can first build the command post
and then steal the gold or invert.
German:
Beide Seiten muessen dem Gegner das Gold stehlen und in ihrem Lager sichern,
sowie den Command Post in der Kirche aufbauen. Das Team welches als erstes
das Gold gestohlen und den Command Post aufgebaut hat , hat Gewonnen. Dabei
gibt es aber keine Vorgabe was das stehlen und den Command Post betrifft,
man kann genauso als erstes den CP aufbauen und dann das Gold stehlen. Muss
das jeweilige Team halt noch den CP Schützen :)

Spanish:
Hemos realizado esta pequeña modificación del estupendo mapa Italy de IndyJones, Pazur and Isbowhten. Esperamos que estas sean del agrado de la comunidad ET.
Cambios realizados:
-Se ha creado un nuevo spawn Allie, estos ya no nacen en el exterior.
-Se han abierto nuevos accesos a la bandera de la plaza del mercado.
-Se han cambiado algunas escaleras y accesos a diferentes puntos del mapa.
-El comandost se ha movido justo debajo, y hemos realizado una nueva salida que da acceso a los tejados y a la MG
-Se ha habilitado una nueva zona a la izquierda del spawn Axis que llega hasta la plaza del mercado pasando por la entrada de la torre donde esta el oro.
-Hemos cambiado la parte final del recorrido del Jeep habilitando una nueva zona. El mapa ya no acaba en el spawn Allie.
-Se han modificado los archivos OmniBot adaptandolos a las modificaciones.

We have made this small modification for the great map of Italy by IndyJones, Pazur and Isbowhten. We hope these are liked by the community ET.
Changelog:
-He has created a new spawn Allie, they will no longer spawn outside.
-He opened new access to the flag of the market square.
-Changed some ladder and access to different locations.
-The comandost has moved just below, and we made a new exit that leads to the rooftops and the MG
-He has set up a new area to the left of the Axis spawn that reaches the market place through the entrance of the tower where the gold is.
-We have changed the end of the tour the Jeep enabling a new zone. The map is no longer just the spawn Allie.
-Files have been modified Omnibot adapted to the changes.

Briefing
Allies have to gain access to the base by passing the gate.
Objectives
The Objectives are ordered, means you wont be able to do Objective 2 if you have not yet finished Objective 1 f.i.
Axis objectives
- Defend the key
- Defend the battery
- Prevent the allies from placing dynamite at the gate
- Prevent the allies from building the dynamite mover and switching it
- Stop them from driving the elevator
Allied objectives
- Steal the key
- Steal the battery
- Place 2 dynamites against the gate
- Build the dynamite mover and pull it down to toggle the dynamite
- Drive the elevator to gain access to the base
Features
Spawnpoints can be toggled by pushing a button:
Toggle 1: Axis spawn inside, Allies outside
Toggle 2: Axis spawn outside, Allies inside
