This is very sad news.  I haven't played for a couple years, but she was so welcoming to me when I revisited ET after many years gone.  I've wanted to jump back on, and it was specifically because I remembered how nice and helpful Kate was to me.  My condolences to her family, both IRL and on this server and the ET community.

I slowed down playing several months ago, and I would hop on here and there.  However, my Intel SSD (boot drive) died a few weeks ago, and with it went all of my ET installation, etc.  I've just been lazy about re-installing ET.

I'm pretty much lazy about everything.  haha.  I'll try to jump on again.

Although I go into the office every day, I don't get exposed to many people.  Well, other than the co-worker that came in during the window of possible incubation.  :/

I'll get the vaccine.  However, I'm behind so many other priority groups that it will take many months before I can receive it.

At least I'll be able to see if there are any issues.

I'm taking a COVID test tomorrow because I may have been exposed.  :/
