You are right. I think we kind of lose focus when it's a small crowd of regular regulars and members and will goof around and rush things not realizing there may be some ( 1 or 2) that do not want to rush things. We lose sight of - that we want to present an equal and fun gaming experience for all that join at any given time. I'm not saying we need to cater to Darkshot but just be mindful at who's playing and how many are playing. Do we have a new face playing? Then we need to adjust and adhere to some gaming etiquette. 


I, for one, will be more mindful of the rushing maps when more than a few peeps are playing. I'd love to see a steady of regs and member gaming on a regular basis. We all need to pitch in and encourage more fair play for all.

Ok, I'll keep it in mind...

 

 

The other night was particularly bad,,, Don't know why he was going off on such a tangent. Accusing me and the clan of all kinds of things. He doesn't like the gameplay, the flow of the game (sometimes) the rushing, maps and rotation, and he also brought up Sky. He seems to think Sky and maybe a few others cheat and we just let it happen. IIRC the two of them have had words before during in game. Sky is always calling people NOOBS, which I dislike and have warned him about that. But anyway... Dark just kept talking the other night. I wish I had thought of it and I would've suggested that he login to the site (forum) to post his grievances / thoughts but it looks like others have already attempted that. If I see him again and he starts I will stop him and suggest the forum again. He's not bad if he would just deal with the issues the proper way.

The only other person playing at the time was Ivan and I think he just ignored it because he never pipped in. But, DarkShot complained about the same ol' stuff mixed in with insults to me and the clan. 
He's a good shot and a half decent team player... he just has a lot of gripes and voices them constantly..

Yes, it is still a problem. Speaking for myself I always try  to even it up and will move to whichever side is down a few players. Most ets members and some regs will not do this. Some people just prefer to be on the attacking side (allies) and some regs that are pretty good shots are always axis medics.. Same problems this 20 yr old game has always had. There are even in-game banners asking people to balance the teams in the spirit of fairness... but it is ignored. Some rare examples it can be 6 v 3 and it be even because the strength of the 3, but it is rare. I think ets members and the regs need to be aware that if they are on a side that is dominating and the numbers favor their side then someone needs to announce they are moving over. Likewise an ets member on the disadvantaged side needs to announce that someone needs to move over. I do not like gaming (playing) when one side clearly has the advantage even if I'm on the winning side. That is boring... and frustrating when you're on the losing end. When it is evenly split it always makes for a spirited match and highly entertaining...

I think this is one of the MAJOR reasons for people not sticking around. We need to encourage people to stay and not abuse them in a one-sided match and never see them again.

I've seen that before but with the mortar weapon. I think it is specific to the MOD being used on the server. We are using the Silent MOD and that option is not a part of it or it's not active.  Hope that helps.
