I only use the auto exec because i thought that was the easiest way to change things to the way you wanted it.

It was the 2 on the end of cfg that was messing it up.

Got it to work..Mostly.

Only think that i can tell that isn't working is the crosshair. I used to have just a solid Dot without the ring around it. any clue how to get rid of the ring ?

I tried your link Kate, but I must've been missing the main download.

I ended up downloading et legacy 2.81 from https://www.etlegacy.com  it works, but i got some warning from windows defender when I installed it.

got the name set again, BUT I can't get my auto exec to exec. Maybe somethings changed ?

can you take a look and see If i have something screwed up in it ?

So I'm thinking of playing again. been playing here and there, but only through steam. can't change any settings though, like site, blood,flash etc

I was checking out the download section here and theres a ton of stuff. would it be possible for one of you just to list the stuff i need to get playing again ?

I don't have any of my old maps, mods,,,Anything on this computer.
