  1. That was my 3rd Zappa album to buy. 1st was Chunga's Revenge (I only liked the song and guitar work on '20 Small Cigars'). 2nd was Tinseltown Rebellion (live cuts from the 81/82 band) and 3rd was Joe's Garage! LOVED IT RIGHT AWAY! THAT'S when I was hooked! I learned how to play the solo from Watermellon in Easter Hay too! Beautiful song. LUCKY! HE LOVED PLAYING EUROPE --A LOT! Zappa has/had always been very well received and respected there esp. Prauge in the Czech Republic. I never got to see Frank live but I've been an avid collector of his material for years and years. After seeing what music you're into I want to suggest checking out You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore Vol 5 (DISC 2 ONLY). The guitar solos and the TIGHTNESS of his 82 band was simply astounding! Check out the guitar solo on The Black Page #2 from that CD or, from the same tour/year THIS GUITAR SOLO >>>>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEnzdp71U78
  2. Sam Walton, creator of 'Walmart' never got past the 9th grade and became a billionaire :) I can dig it man! You eventually find that groove and routine that fuses. Seems that you have found yours and THAT'S HALF THE BATTLE my brother! There's so much in this world to tinker with and explore. It's weird. Sometimes you find the most interesting things to delve into and they come from the most unlikely places and people too! Pretty cool! That's what's up

  4. I'm ready to tag up. IF accepted, can I customized my tag colors or, does it always have to be all red? I've been in and out lately. Mostly out. I've been managing all of my personal financial affairs while also nursing a badly broken foot. I have also been using a strong medication THAT I DON'T LIKE TO TAKE but, I must for now! That's why I have been totally goofing off on the server lately then, vanishing. I know that can't play well all doped up so, I just goof off and laugh about it. I've posted a bio-esc 'Greeting' that covers a good bit of info about me >>> https://ets-clan.com/index.php?/forums/topic/880-greetings-from-centrifuge/&tab=comments#comment-2589 Here's a bit more info: I am 55 years old. I live in Brandon, Mississippi. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with degrees in Psychology/Economics that I never once used! My true love is music and sound engineering (studio environments). That has always been my love. SOUND AND MUSIC REPRODUCTION/MIXING/EDITING!I have been a recording and studio 2nd engineer for most of my life. These days I just do a lot of mixing and editing from home (which I LOVE). Labels I have worked for in the past have included (but were not limited to) Warner Brothers | Island | Capitol | Dream Works | etc. and, some of the names that I've worked with that you may know are: Buddy Guy. Elvis Costello. Counting Crows... I used to follow the Grateful Dead around (1985 > 1995) and record their concerts. That took me to every state in the US (except Alaska), Europe and, Tokyo where I met my girlfriend- Mikosawa (Miko) who just moved back to Japan to care for elderly family members c/o Corona related circumstances! Anyway, now I am just trying to relax and live a happy, humble life before God calls me home. Peace and Hair Grease, Centrifuge!
