Staff Napoleon 30 Posted September 19, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 19, 2020 To those unaware, trackbase can be used to connect to server directly from browser. It boots ET after pop up confirmation request to boot ET. Only for et legacy versions!

It should work for both legacy and vanilla, but only for shortcuts! If you have desktop shortcut: -1.b Right click on shortcut, and click on properties -2. look at picture -3 after "drive:directories/et.exe" add this: +connect 108.61.18.109:27920 -4 Apply changes or press okay If you use start bar and click on et shortcut there: -1.a right click on shortcut, open file location -1.b Right click on shortcut or et.exe file, and click on properties -1.c if you end up in the directory with the et.exe file, you have to add a shortcut. If you have a short cut, go to step 2. If you are unsure look at attached picture. If you don't see a start in and target, you don't have a shortcut. -1.d you can either choose the send to button and then select desktop or select Create shortcut. Once this is done go to step 2 -2. look at attached picture -3 after "drive:directories/et.exe" add this: +connect 108.61.18.109:27920 -4 Apply changes or press okay
Administrators kate 59 Posted September 19, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 19, 2020 and for start in ? when u dont use ETL ?
Staff Napoleon 30 Posted September 19, 2020 Author Staff Share Posted September 19, 2020 6 minutes ago, kate said: and for start in ? when u dont use ETL ? Your start in should already have a directory. For example your start in might be: "C:\Program Files x86\Wolfenstein ET\" Your target will be: "C:\Program Files x86\Wolfenstein ET\ET.exe" This can be left as is. Only add the +connect 108.61.18.109:27920. In summary: OLD start in: "C:\Program Files x86\Wolfenstein ET\" OLD target: "C:\Program Files x86\Wolfenstein ET\ET.exe" NEW start in: "C:\Program Files x86\Wolfenstein ET\" NEW target: "C:\Program Files x86\Wolfenstein ET\ET.exe" +connect 108.61.18.109:27920 Only the bold part is new/added.
